How my town has changed through the years

Huelva is a small town, located in southwest of Spain and Andalucia, near Portugal. It is located at the confluence of the Tinto and Odiel rivers, 91 km away from Sevilla, and according to INE data on January 1, 2016 it had a population of 145,468 inhabitants. Huelva has always been the last to be updated, although demographically it has grown surprisingly, in 1940 the city (capital, not municipality) had 56,427 inhabitants, so it did not grow until today. It was a city marked by the poverty of the Civil War and postwar, where families lived together in the same house. Little by little it has been growing, now it has two shopping centers, leisure centers called "scape room" and many fast food stores. Depends, the construction of factories has turned the city into one of the most polluted from Spain, and the construction of the second shopping centred caused the closure of many stores in the city center, but thanks to that there are stores that did not have on the city and f

In Huelva we have many different products, for example, beans with cuttlefish are very traditional here. The cuttlefish is so representative of the city that to the habitants from the region call us "choqueros". The cuttlefish are prepared and placed on a casserole, then you have to add beans on another side, you have to cut the onions and garlics, and place the onions in a pan, add paprika. Then you place the onion on the casserole where the cuttlefish are, and we add the beans. Later, we will pour wine, cumin and garlics to the same place. It is necessary to cook during 25 minutes and to add water little by little. And...ready! This dish is served at the "Feria de la tapa" once a year, in restaurants and bars.

My City

The name of the city I am going to talk about is Huelva, although in Roman times it was called Onuba Aestuaria, and "Onuba" only in times of the Phoenicians and Tartessos. When you leave work normally go home, to rest, you work for too many hours and you are always tired. You go by car, bus or walking, it depends on each person. I do not live in the city, I live in a village, but I work in the city. My town is smaller than my city and there are few buses, so the best option is to take the car, if you have one... The people in my city do not have a personality ...good, when you walk down the street they always look at how you are dressed and you're criticized if you are carrying something weird. In the village, people are most friendly than in the city, you can talk for hours with someone unknown and tell you his life, but that does not happen in the city.
